Gett app
Gett, previously known as GetTaxi, is a global on-demand mobility company that connects customers with transportation, goods and services. Customers can order a taxi or courier either through the company's website, or by using the company's GPS-based smartphone app.
Challenge
Create a video that would showcase the functionality of the new Gett smartphone app.
Approach
The client came in with this project already knowing what they wanted, they had the style already picked out and they knew that they wanted the phone in 3D, the only catch was, it had to be done in two days.
Working with a tight deadline and knowing from experience that when it comes to showing the functionality of an app - it is always a subject to change, I chose to do it in After Effects using Element 3D plug-in. I've decided that it would be a much more flexible workflow, allowing to change the phone's contents quickly and eliminating the need of rendering everything out twice.
Working this way I've saved a ton of time and actually finished with the time to spare, hooray Element 3D!
